When the summer days start to fade away, I always get excited about the crisp fall air, everything pumpkin-flavored, and most importantly…fall clothes! While I love the summer months, there is something so cozy about fall weather and the comfortable clothes that come along with the season.
When it comes to fashion, I like to find a couple staples that can be worn throughout the season. Below are a few of my absolute favorite finds!
Sam Edelman “Penny” riding boots in Whiskey → $113.98-$149.50 depending on size/color choices from Amazon.com
I found these amazing boots last year and wear them with absolutely everything! They are great for dressing up leggings and a vest, with your skinny jeans tucked in, or with a casual dress and scarf. They are so comfortable and versatile!
Pretty Plaid Wrap in “Tan” → $34.00 from Francesca’s Collections
I love the idea of covering up with a cozy blanket scarf when it gets cold here in central PA. I would pair this with a pair of jeans, my Penny boots and a navy blouse. Check out this video for several styling options for a blanket scarf!
Fringe Ankle Booties in “Tan” → $38.99 from Amazon.com
If you are a fan of the ankle booties, try some with fringe this year! I ordered these from Amazon and I absolutely love them. I plan to pair them with skinny jeans with a cuff at the bottom and a loose, boho-style blouse like this one from Target.
Herringbone Vest → $98.00 from J.Crew Factory
This herringbone vest was ALL over Pinterest last season and I couldn’t get my hands on one. Imagine my surprise and excitement when I found a woven version at Francesca’s this year! Unfortunately, the version I snagged is sold out, but J.Crew Factory has a puffer-style vest on their website. I paired mine with dark denim, my Penny boots and this plaid button-up…perfect for fall activities!
Black and Cream Poncho → $29.99 from Target
If you really want to feel cozy in the middle of a chilly fall, then this poncho is for you! I just picked this up in the store and I can’t wait to wear it. I plan to wear it with skinny jeans and a pair of light tan booties from last season.
Twill Anorak Jacket → $39.99 from Target
While I was really hoping to snag a plain green Anorak when I searched on Target’s website (it was sold out at the time, but looks like it’s back), I found this print version and have to admit, I really like it! It’s neutral enough that it won’t clash with fall outfits but is still an interesting piece on its own. With six colors to choose from, I’m sure you’ll find one that works for you.
