Developing a game plan early for Christmas gifts is a must for me. I always like to cross a bunch of things off my list on Black Friday when there are deals and steals to be had everywhere! I also like to grab things I’ve been eyeing up for myself. 🙂 In advance of Black Friday 2015, I’m sharing some of my favorites from the preview ads.
Every Black Friday, Old Navy offers 50 percent off the entire store. If you have a lot of babies, kids, teens, or adult family members to shop for, this is often a jackpot. I am loving their boyfriend style plaid shirts…they are classic, comfy and long enough to wear with leggings! They are regularly $29.94…I scooped one up in this buffalo plaid print a few weeks ago, but plan to snag a few more during the sale.
I have my eyes on a couple of things at Macy’s…both practical, and not so practical! First, I’m in need of a new toaster oven and Macy’s has a Bella version for $9.99 after rebate. This is a web buster, so I might be able to grab it from the comfort of home before heading out to the stores. I am also swooning over the gemstone rings they have for $49.99 on Black Friday, regularly $200…seems like a deal to me!
Michaels is another store that I never miss on Black Friday. They usually have 50 percent off of most items in the store, and I like to stock up on Christmas ornaments and decor while the prices are so low.
Target is offering 40 percent off all apparel and accessories for women, men and children on Black Friday. If you’ve seen my previous blogs, you know I incorporate a lot of inexpensive items from Target…so I’m excited to grab some pieces during this sale. Plus, if you spend $75 or more on Black Friday (which you know is very easy to do in Target!), you’ll receive a coupon for 20 percent off a shopping trip between December 4-13. We have also been in the market for a portable bluetooth speaker, and I think this Jam Trance Mini is a great deal…$39.99, plus you get a $20 gift card with the purchase on Black Friday. If you are more interested in shopping this week before the holiday, Target has a 20 percent off coupon on all toys…but hurry, that expires on November 25!
We are currently in the process of finishing our basement and the project includes a wet bar! When it’s finished, I plan to put a popcorn machine on the counter so we have everything we need for movie nights. I thought I’d ultimately get one from Amazon when we are closer to completion, but I found a pre-Black Friday deal that I couldn’t pass up. This is a great rollback for $34.88 in Walmart’s online Black Friday deals. If you want to avoid the lines at the store on Black Friday, check out what they have up on their website this week!
You already know this, but I’ll say it again…I couldn’t live without Amazon. While they are good for the everyday things you need…they also come through with some great Black Friday deals! If you need a gift for someone, I highly recommend the Kindle. Alex bought me a Paperwhite for Valentine’s Day and Amazon is offering them for $99.99 (there is also a 5-month payment option). If you’re looking for something a little more economical, they also have the regular Kindle on sale for $49.99…a great deal!
I hope you find some great deals this Black Friday. Happy shopping!
