Do you LOVE crunchy, salty snacks like me? If I’m being honest, I like all snacks..including sweets…but there is a special place for the crunch and the salt!  I could really go to town on a bag of chips when I’m in the mood, but since I can’t let myself do that, I have to find other ways to satisfy my taste buds!

Enter: crispy cheese crackers. Now, I’m not advocating that you eat 15 of these in one sitting, but the crispiness will definitely satisfy your need for crunch…and who doesn’t love cheese?

These are SO simple. I picked up a pack of pre-cut cheese slices at the store as a short cut. There was a variety in the pack, including colby jack, pepper jack, swiss and cheddar. You can choose your favorite kind and even start with a block instead of the pre-cut slices.  If you go that route, just start by making even 1/4 inch slices.

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray it lightly with cooking spray. Place your cheese slices about an inch apart on the baking sheet and toss them in the oven for 10 minutes.

Once they are done, move them onto paper towels with a spatula to drain.

Once they cool, the cheese will harden and you will be left with tasty crispy cheese crackers. Don’t go too crazy…everything in moderation…but enjoy the crunch!
