My girlfriends and I went to Bonefish Grill for happy hour the other weekend and we had to get the bang bang shrimp and chicken. Two of my favorite appetizers, hands down! I wanted to recreate the recipe for dinner with a guilt-free sauce and no breading. This is a super simple and quick weeknight meal!

What you’ll need:

  • 2 tbsp. Frank’s Red Hot Sweet Chili sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp. Sriracha
  • 1/4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 lb. cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined!)
  • Green onions
  • Wood skewers

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Grab your sauce ingredients, add them all to a bowl and stir it up! If you want to make the sauce a bit more mild, use less sriracha.

I used a bag of frozen, precooked shrimp. Make sure you place them in the fridge the day before so they have time to thaw!  I made four skewers with 8 shrimp each and had just a couple left over. Place them on a baking sheet with foil and put them in the oven.

While your shrimp is cooking, chop up some green onions for garnish.

Cook your shrimp for about 10 minutes. Immediately brush with the bang bang sauce when you pull them out of the oven and serve.

You could serve these over a bed of rice for dinner or they would be perfect as appetizers. Enjoy…guilt-free!
